I have to say that this was just an AWESOME family session.  I found out afterwards that mom was nervous because it was so hot and she was afraid that I may not have been able to get some of the family due to the heat.  Well, I was able to get some family shots and we had a great time getting them.  I love this famiy.  We all go to church together and they are just a precious family.  Angel (mom)  is a big fan now of Matilda Jane (she is wearing it here and so is her daughter and they look great in their Matilda Jane).  Which leads me to tell you that I will be having a travling Matilda Jane Trunk Show beginning tomorrow (Friday-Sunday), so if anyone sees anything they want please give me a call at 318-669-7399 and we can set up an appointment to meet with me to turn your order in.  Thier clothing is amazing for adults, teens, and children.  As I have said before and you can tell in these photos that the clothing just photographs so well.  Check out the site at www.matildajaneclothing.com.

These two were just too cute.  I photographed them last year and let me say the little boy has really grown since last year.  The precious girl had not changed much but the little boy had.  I have to say that she is all girl and he is all boy.  He was just rolling around in the grass and nothing seemed to bother him at all.  I enjoyed spending time with them capturing these moments to cherish forever.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy and as always thanks for stopping by to read and may God bless you

We had a family outing in the country and I think the kids liked the tractors because we couldn’t hardly get them off to get any photos.  I did manage to get some.  The little one’s are twins and they were just precious.  I even think the oldest boy might have enjoyed it and most boys don’t.  Here are some of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy. 

I have received so much email resposne from my 100 days of prayer for women from yesterdays segment(personal email I send out) so I thought I would share it here.  It is from a book called 100 days of Prayer for Women (I got the book from Lifeway)

Day8:  BITTERNESS PUTS DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND GOD

Are you mired in the quicksand of bitterness or regret?  If so, it’s time to free yourself from the mire.  The world holds few if any rewards for those who remain angrily focused upon the past.  Still, the act of forgiveness is difficult for all but the most saintly men and women.

Being frail, fallible, imperfect human beings, most of us are quick to anger, quick to blame, slow to forgive, and even slower to forget.  Yet we know that it’s best to forgive others, just as we, too, have been forgiven.

If there exists even one person–including yourself—against whom you still harbor bitter feelings, it’s time to forgive and move on.  Bitterness, and regret are not part of God’s plan for you, but God won’t force you to forgive others.  It’s a job that only you can finish, and the sooner you finish it, the better.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, free me from anger and bitterness.  When I am angry, I cannot feel the peace that You intend for my life.  I cannot feel the peace that YOu intend for my life.  When I am bitter, I cannot sense Your presence.  Keep me mindful that forgiveness is Your commandment.  Let me turn away from bitterness and instead claim the spiritual abundance that YOu offer through the gift of Your Son.  Amen.

There is nothing like mothers and daughters spending time together.  I was able to capture some of this beautiful mom and her daughters while she was in visiting family.  I got my exercise too running behind these two.  I almost could’t keep up, but that doesn’t mean I am getting old.  I am always young at heart.   I always love capturing the candid moments.  Those are always the moments you want to cherish and remember.  Here are some of my favorites.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see.

These two are just precious and I had such a great time with them.  I was blessed to photograph Mr. “J” last year and was so excited to be able to photograph him and his sister together this year.  Mom, cherish these moments forever because time doesn’t stand still.  Our children grow up so fast and these precious moments are too soon just memories.  If we could only stop the clock for a while and shut life off just to savor the moments like these.  I realize more and more every day how short life really is.  Twenty years ago I never thought that I would be where I am today and now I say to myself, “where did those twenty years go?”  It just goes way too fast.  I can remember crying at my sons kindergarden graduation and before I know it I will be crying at his high school graduation.  Our time here on earth is short lived so we should stay focused on eternity and how to save our children from falling into this lost world we live in.

This Family is always fun to photograph and I so enjoyed adding one to the family and now dad is really out-numbered.  I told him that is exactly what he needed was two girls.  This is a beautiful family and man is mom fit and in shape.  She is a personal trainer at the new Anytime Fitness in Rayville. Go check them out, the owners are awesome people.    I need her help bad!!!!  I think I will just put her legs on my body.  Oh well, she has a awesome figure.  Sorry for the delay in posting.  I was sick last week with a stomach virus, school is out and I am running like crazy.   Well, here are some of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy and have a blessed Memorial Day Weekend.
