Well this is new for me. I don’t enter my stuff in contests. I did one time years ago of my son when he was two but never have I entered a photo in a contest as a professional photographer until now. I was one of many chosen to enter the contest and feel so honored and blessed just to have been chosen to enter. I had so many ideas for photographing “the dress” for the contest but just didn’t have the time or help to do what I really wanted to do, but I did take my daughter out and get some shots of her in the “dress” that was especially made for the contest. See, we all received the same dress to photograph and now the images are posted on the Matilda Jane website for voting. If you know me you know how much I love Matilda Jane Clothing and how much I enjoy dressing my daughter in the clothes. Well, the winner of the contest receives the 2010 collection and gets to go to the Matilda Jane Clothing show in Jan. 2010. So as we were told, we could post the image on our blogs and encourage voting. Well this is the image I entered and if you like it I would love for you to go and vote for it. You can choose more than one image. The top ten are determined by the public and the Matilda Jane will pick the top three. So go take a look at the blog first to review the detalils of voting and then go vote. I thank you so much if you decide to vote for mine as one of your favorites. May God Bless You! Here is the blog address for the details and then you have to click on their site (it is highlighted for you already) for voting. http://matildajane.typepad.com/
Words of Wisdom: “It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it.”———A. W. Tozer
“The kind of work we do is not as important as the attitude we bring to it. We should approach every endeavor with an attitude of excellence, doing everything as if it were for the Lord Himself. That’s what the apostle Paul counseled nearly two thousand years ago, and it’s still good advice.”
(Your Bridge to a Better Future by John C. Maxwell)
Lord Jesus, let us give You glory in everything we do. Lord I want my work to honor You. I give You all the glory Lord and I never want to take for granted what You have blessed me with. I praise You Lord in the name of Jesus. Amen.
