True Religion~

9936-02-blog

Ok, the reason the session is titled “true religion” is due to the jeans.  The little boy was wearing true religion jeans and he looked so cute in them.  I knew the session was going to rock because the parents manage the Buckle clothing store in the mall in Monroe and I knew that the clothing choices would be awesome and they were.  The little boy was decked out and had more shoes I think than I have (just kidding, but running a close race).  I bet he had more than I had when I was one years old.  Well the session went great and this little man is just precious.  In the beginning the parent’s were not going to get in any and I though it would be a great idea to get in the photos because it is great to have some family shots to cherish as well and our kids are only this young for such a short time.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Thanks so much for stopping by to look and read.  May God bless you!

Words of Wisdom:   Question for God:  Am I really responsible for all my actions?  I can’t help it when I do certain things.

A moment with God:  Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.  Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Instead, give yourselves completely to God; for you were dead, but now you have new life.  So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.  Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law.  Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

ROMANS 6:12-14

When we think of a bad habit, we think of things such as smoking, drinking, and abusing drugs (before I gave myself to the Lord I did all of these things listed, yes me, Vanessa.  I did them all).  But spreading gossip, complaining, and backbiting are bad habits too.  Worry is a bad habit that can hurt you both physically and spiritually.  One of Satan’s great lies is that you are a victim who has no power to resist your impulses.  The world teaches that heredity, environment, and circumstances excuse you from responsibility.  In reality, everything you do is the result of a choice you make—and you are responsible for every choice.  It’s hard to resist every temptation and always make good choices.  The good news is that God is more powerful than anything you feel controls you.  When you tap into his power through prayer and the support of fellow believers, God bereaks the chains that hold you and gives you the self-control to say no. (All this from Divine Moments for Men everryday inspiration from God’s Word)

Lord Jesus, let us take responsibility for our own actions and help us to always consider You in the choices we make.  Lord I pray that we consider You in every decision we make and help us to lead our children to consider You in every decision they make. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

As a reminder, I have no avaliable appointments for 2009.  I started a list for 2010 but will only be booking sessions through the end of March due to moving.  Everyone on the list will have first choice for booking and will receive my information in Jan.  I will be booking the seniors on my list first due to a time schedule for them and then everyone on the list will be notified.  I will give everyone on the list two weeks to call and book before taking new calls and once the sessions are booked through March I will be done accepting appointments until further notice.  I will begin taking appointments in Shreveport, Louisiana sometime after May 2010.  I will try to keep everyone notified either here or by emails.  Hope all this makes sense.
