Ok I know this session is out of my norm. I did a few babies when I first started out and you can see those under wee ones on my old blog at www.vanessadielphotography.wordpress.com. Well it has been a long time and this is my first new, new born. This was for a friend of mine. I told her I didn’t do newborns, but I would do it as long as it was within the first 10 days of him being born and she said yes. Well when I went to the hospital the day after he was born to see him and my great friend I was so excited. I walked into the room and the first thing Lori said was “you won’t be able to see him because he is in the NICU” and my heart fell. She said “we are going to have to wait now to do his photos when he gets older because he cannot be around anyone for three months. Well, I wasn’t worried about the photos I just wanted him well and I told her that I just knew he would be out after his 7 days of antibiotics. We shared tears together but I was keeping my faith. Well guess what, he got out I believe it was the 8th day but the NICU nurse practictioner whom I happen to know told Lori that it would be ok for me to do his pictures and Lori and her husband brought the little man the day after they returned home. I was a little nervous knowing that he had just left the hospital, but he was excelant and we were able to capture these precious moment to cherish forever. God is so good and what a blessing this little man is. Lori I love you and you have such a precious little boy now. Now you are going to see what it is like to give your heart away. Here are a few favorites. Thanks for stopping by. I still am thinking about adding new borns in 2010.
Thanks Mechele for allowing us to come to your beautiful home and to use that beautiful bowl. Tell Brad thank you for moving that heavy bowl for us.
Words of Wisdom: Making the decision to have a child is momentous-it is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. (God’s little devotional book for parents).
And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three, and the greatest of these is love.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:13 NRSV
Lord Jesus, I lift up this precious little one to you. Lord give us the wisdom and knowledge to teach our children of You and to lead them to You. Lord let your light shine through us to our children. Lord thank You for all your blessing and especially the blessing to be a mother, Amen.
Thanks & God Bless!
